Event Description:
Chuck Dynes was a 1961 graduate of Burlington-Edison High School.  Upon returning from his second tour in Vietnam, he settled back in Burlington with his family and  to work, along side his father, and brother, Bill, at Dynes’ Broadview Farms.  Chuck was a proud supporter of education as well as the Burlington Community. He served on the Burlington-Edison School board for 8 years and was a member of the Kiwanis Club  He was also a fixture at many of  the BEHS sporting events. His favorite colors were blue and gold. 

Chuck was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in December of 2009. He fought his battle with cancer for 18 months. It was just too aggressive.  He passed away in June of 2011, at the age of 68.

It is our wish to combine Chuck’s favorite things: friends, golf, the BEHS Tigers, and education. Please join us for a day of golf as we honor his memory and begin to develop a perpetual scholarship for students in our community. The proceed from this annual tournament will benefit the Charles G. Dynes Memorial Scholarship Fund in the care of the Burlington-Edison Education and Alumni Foundation.

Last year, with your help, we raised over $8,000 for the Charles G. Dynes Memorial Scholarship Fund!

Two students have been awarded this scholarship through the 

Burlington-Edison Education and Alumni Foundation.
