ANACORTES CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING: 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce, 819 Commercial Ave. Lighting of the community Christmas tree with performances by students from Anacortes schools, the town crier and a visit from Santa Claus, who will pose for pictures with after the lighting ceremony. Hot cocoa and cookies will be provided.
