Fourteen nonprofit organizations with volunteer opportunities and donation drives in the Anacortes area will be present. Individuals, families, churches, businesses, civic groups and others are encouraged to attend to find ways to make a difference. Participating organizations include: Anacortes School District, Habitat for Humanity, A Simple Gesture, Diaper Bank of Skagit County, Anacortes Police Department, Girl Scouts of Western Washington, Anacortes Public Library, Red Door Thrift Shop, Anacortes Family Center, Wolf Hollow Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, The Salvation Army, Goodwill, Dr. Samuel G Brooks Guild for Seattle Children’s Hospital, and the Community Action of Skagit County programs Volunteer Services for Seniors & Disabled, Adult Education, Financial Coaching, and Food Distribution Center.
