Event Description:
In the mid-sixties outside of Millington Tennessee, there was a smoky little coffee house that showcased an array of folk and blues musicians. That establishment was owned by Steve Lord, Deirdre’s father and called “The Broken Banjo”. It seemed the perfect name for this newly formed group from Whidbey Island – For Deirdre Fairfax, Larry Mason and Kevin Johnson, Island roots run deep.
