On Saturday, July 28th, the Mount Vernon Downtown Association (MVDA) seeks to enliven the annual Sidewalk Sale by introducing a NEW element, the Downtown Chow Down. Downtown area restaurants and food vendors will present a variety of menu offerings to Sidewalk Sale visitors, and the Empire Ale House will offer a Beer Garden in the US Bank parking lot with none other than Mama Dirty Skirt keeping things lively! Lots of family-friendly fun including a painted rocks activity with Skagit Valley Rocks!, tie-dyed t-shirts at Tri-Dee Arts, and Wapo the Clown creating balloon animals for kids, and more! The annual Sidewalk Sale takes place on Friday and Saturday, July 27-28, from 10 am-5 pm. Locals will enjoy early access to sales on Friday, while special events including the Downtown Chow Down, will take place on Saturday, July 28. Shop local and win!
