Friends of Skagit Beaches Films with Friends Series

For the second night in the 2016 Films with Friends series, Friends of Skagit Beaches is offering the documentary film "Salmon Confidential" which follows biologist Alexandra Morton who discovers British Columbia's wild salmon are testing positive for European salmon viruses associated with salmon farming worldwide. Morton's work takes her from courtrooms and government offices into remote rivers, Vancouver grocery stores and sushi restaurants. The film documents Morton's journey as she attempts to overcome roadblocks thrown in her path while trying to bring critical information to the public in time to save our wild salmon populations.
