Skagit Valley Chorale continues the journey begun in 2016 as we explore Christmas and winter-themed music from many different lands and traditions. Our travel through world-wide styles and languages will include the rhythms of South America in the colorful Misa Criolla, or “Creole Mass,” by renowned Argentinian composer Ariel Ramirez. Special guest percussionist Patrick Roulet will return, with his endless bag of fun, rhythmic instruments from all over the world, to help us on our jaunty way. We’ll learn about other places on this journey, and then return home to songs that are close to our hearts.
