Event Description:
How sharper than a serpents tooth it is to have a thankless child. Its the 1920s and captain of industry, King Lear, is throwing his customary birthday soiree, during which he will announce the division of his country amongst his three daughters, as he prepares to shake all cares and business from our age, conferring them on younger strengths while we unburdened crawl toward death. But Lear soon learns that all is not as he expected, and thus begins his slow descent into madness. A story for the ages, King Lear is a cautionary tale about family and power.
