Dear Community Merchant,
The Burlington Healthy Community Coalition (BHCC) is organizing another H.U.B. Project event – Burlington Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt! The event will be held on April 19th at 8:30 p.m. at Whitmarsh Fields with support from the City of Burlington and Kiwanis. The event is intended to provide a safe and fun activity for Burlington teens. The H.U.B. Project (Help Unify Burlington) has a mission of uniting the citizens of Burlington in creating a safe and healthy place for our youth to grow and develop.
For this event we are in need of prize donations to be given away as part of the “hunt” and drawings that will follow. Please consider donating prizes that teens would enjoy and that may bring business back to you!
Beyond this event, the H.U.B. Project aims to provide a consistent location for safe, alcohol-free and drug-free events to occur for Burlington youth. We are informally referring to this as a future “drop-in” center. If you are interested in providing support for this larger project, please reach out to us. Project partners include the City of Burlington, Burlington-Edison School District, the Burlington Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis, Young Life, United Way of Skagit County, Christ the King Church and the BHCC.
We realize that numerous organizations are asking for help these days, but we ask that you consider us for a donation. When you donate, your business will be acknowledged at the event, on our website, and on Facebook.
Your donation is tax deductible within the IRS tax guidelines. You can mail financial contributions payable to BHCC c/o 927 E. Fairhaven, Burlington WA 98233 or contact us to stop by and meet you. Thank you so much for your consideration.
Sincerely,
K. C. Knudson
