Lighting Universe Grand Opening

Lighting Universe is excited to present the official Grand Opening of a new Lighting Universe Burlington showroom, May 30th - June 1st. Highlights of the weekend will include a Friday afternoon ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Edward Brunz and the Burlington Chamber of Commerce. Following the ceremony, the first 250 customers to arrive will receive consumer energy education tips and an efficient ENERGY STAR® light bulb, courtesy of Puget Sound Energy. Remodeling and design presentations, home improvement tips, and product giveaways will be held both Saturday and Sunday. Schedule of events: Friday May 30th: 1:00pm - Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with special guests including Edward Brunz, Mayor of Burlington, and the Burlington Chamber of Commerce. 1:00pm-5:00pm - The first 250 customers to arrive will receive an ENERGY STAR® Certified Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb, courtesy of Puget Sound Energy. Stop by the PSE booth to meet your local power representatives and receive consumer education, energy tips, and more! Saturday May 31st: 12:00pm - "Get Your Lighting Back On Track" Join presenter Dave Dunn for a comprehensive look at the many ways track lighting and rail systems can be implemented in today's homes. Following the seminar, 2 lucky attendees will receive a contemporary ceiling mount rail kit from W.A.C. lighting, valued at $350 each. 2:00pm - "Improving the Energy Efficiency of your Home with Ceiling Fans" Did you know that ceiling fans can be used year round? Special presenter Dave Dunn will demonstrate how ceiling fans can be used to help decrease energy costs by cooling your home in the summer, and circulating heat in the winter. One seminar attendee will receive a complimentary Casablanca Ceiling Fan valued at $359. 3:00pm - "Add Curb Appeal with Landscape Lighting" Bill Nelson of The Lighting Agency Norwest will show you how to transform the exterior of your home with landscape lighting upgrades that can help add value and boost the curb appeal of your home. One attendee will be selected to receive a $200 credit toward the purchase of a Focus landscape lighting kit. Sunday June 1st: 1:00pm - "Tiny Bubbles... Calm your Senses with Air Therapy Spa Systems" Learn how air therapy tubs can help improve your general health, with special guest Brian Stone. Brian will explain how replacing your tub with an air therapy system adds additional health benefits as well as resale value to your home. Following the seminar, one attendee will receive a $300 credit toward the purchase of any Hydro Systems in-home spa product. 2:00pm - "Turn Your Bath into an Eco-Home Spa" In today's Northwest homes, green is in - and the bath is no exception. Brian Stone will show you how to transform your bath into an eco-friendly in-home spa retreat with the use of environmentally conscious materials.
