Event Description:
The Skagit Food Distribution Center is restocking the food bank pantry for spring with the March into Spring food drive going on from March 1-31st. Our goal is to collect 10,000 pounds of food during the month of March ($1 donated = 7.5 pounds of food). We are looking for groups, businesses, and civic organizations to lead a food and toiletry drive to benefit those in need in our community. For those who wish to just drop off your food donation, collection boxes will be placed at your local chamber (Mount Vernon, Sedro-Woolley, Burlington).
