2013 Veterans Day Celebration

At the Historic Port of Anacortes Transit Shed – 100 Commercial Avenue

Please join the Port of Anacortes in Celebrating the Men & Women who have served and continue to serve our great country.

This year’s full program will take place at the Transit Shed and no longer causland park.

The program will include local speakers, music from AHS High school band, Fly over from the Black Jack Squadron, Whidbey NAS Color guard, chaplain will be Col. Chris Anderson, bugler will be APD officer Janet Wilson, OARS will have a boat in the water weather permitting to give a salute. We will focus our salute to the Men & Women of World War II and hope to have as many Anacortes Vets and their families join us, share their stories and allow us to celebrate their service to our country.

Refreshments will be provided by the Islands Chapter of the American Red Cross and Cap Sante Marine.
