Name:
Project Homeless Connect
Event Description:
Looking for a way to make a big impact for the community in just one day? I’m writing to invite you to help make 2012 Project Homeless Connect (PHC) as successful as last year. First of all, thank you for your past participation in community collaborations to end poverty. If you’ve already signed up to volunteer at PHC or have contributed to this year’s PHC in other ways, thank you again! Please help us spread the word. This year we’re expecting 700-1,000 guests, and we need 300+ volunteers to help make them feel welcome. Learn more about PHC’s guests, volunteers, service providers, and past success at: www.skagitprojecthomelessconnect.org/

Ø Volunteer opportunities include set-up and food prep on the evening of Wednesday, Sept. 5. and/or Guest Hospitality, Food Service and Clean Up Crew at various times during the day of Thursday, Sept. 6. Guest Hospitality and Food Service volunteers will be given pre-event orientation date options. See the website for more information.
Ø Bilingual Guest Hospitality volunteers HIGHLY needed!
Ø There are volunteer opportunities for youth, but individual youth and/or youth groups MUST have their own adult volunteer(s) who registers with them and who can supervise them at all times. Set-up, clean up and information booths are most appropriate for youth groups.
