Scary Monster & The Super Creeps at The Heart of Anacortes

Scary Monster & The Super Creeps was hatched as a David Bowie Tribute band in 2009 by lead vocalist Sean Meyer. The band added Prince’s Purple Rain to the repertoire in 2014 for the thirty year anniversary of the album’s release. Bobby Yost plays lead guitar, Ken Pierce on keyboards, David Wiggs on the drum throne, Walt Burkett plays bass, Jill Clark singing backup vocals. Sean and Walt are alumni of The Walrus, David and Ken played together in Luke Warm And The Moderates, Bobby Yost with So Adult. To honor the passing of Prince, the Scary Monster and the Super Creeps will be performing the album Purple Rain in it’s entirety and many other wonderful songs from his immaculate catalog. In addition we will be distilling down the vast repertoire of our Bowie sets to our absolute favorites. It will be an evening of dedication to the two artists that have given this band life.
