Event Description:
Four years after the last air show and fly-in at Skagit Regional Airport, Skagit Flight Fest 2013 is cleared for takeoff! The event will take place on Saturday, September 7, and keeping with tradition, admission to the public is free.
A unique partnership involving the Port of Skagit, Burlington Chamber of Commerce and Skagit Airport Support Association will produce the show, with local pilot Jay Findlay chairing the organizing committee.
The centerpiece of Skagit Flight Fest 2013 will be an aerobatics show lasting about 90 minutes. Performers will include the father-and-son team of Bud and Ross Granley, "The Flying Tenor" Will Allen and female aerobatic and racing pilot Vicky Benzing. A wide variety of static displays, youth activities and vendors will round out the day.
