Skagit Hospice Presents ''Wit''

Can dealing with cancer be humorous? It can be when written by playwright Margaret Edson and seen through the eyes of her character, Professor Vivian Bearing, in a poignant, intelligent and honest portrayal of one woman?s journey through Stage IV Metastatic Ovarian Cancer in a play called ?Wit?. This thought-provoking, deeply moving play is about a dying woman and by extension about how all of us deal with issues of death and dying. The play won the 1999 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and numerous other prestigious awards.
