San Juan County WSU Extension presents the 2014 Spring Gardening Workshop: Sustainable Gardening in Your Own Back Yard. Keynote speaker, Erin Benzakein, founder of Floret Flower Farm in Mount Vernon, organic gardener, floral designer, writer and popular blogger (www.floretflowers.com) will talk about her adventures growing flowers sustainably in the Skagit Valley. 15 more workshops on sustainable practices for your garden will be presented throughout the day, on a variety of topics, from Bees to Cottage Gardens, to Rain Gardens, and Tomato Growing.
