Friends of Skagit Beaches are pleased to sponsor another Trail Tales docent led walk along the Tommy Thompson Trail on Saturday, September 15th, at 3:00 PM. Please meet at the Fidalgo Bay RV Park to identify and discuss about a dozen important plants along the Trail, how they fit into the environment, and how they were used by humans of different backgrounds. There will be pictures, an herbal medicine discussion with an emphasis on nutrition, and stories. And it will be berry season! The walk is suitable for children and history buffs, Anacortes residents and visitors alike. The walk is along a paved, flat trail that is handicapped accessible.
