The Care and Feeding of Book Groups

Have you ever wanted to be in a book group?  Or maybe you are in a group, but it’s frustrating in some ways, or not growing as you would like.    Saturday, November 3^rd,  from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Burlington Public Library, is a gathering devoted to book groups.   Last year, a new group was begun at this event, which is still going strong.  You’ll receive a free copy of The Book Group Survival Kit to prevent or help with the many issues book clubs run into, and you’ll also be asked to suggest ways in which libraries can support groups throughout Skagit County.  For more information, call the library at 755-7906, or email maryc@ci.burlington.wa.us.
