More than 1 million Christmas lights will be displayed at The Lights of Christmas, a spectacle spread over 15 acres at Warm Beach Camp in Stanwood, Washington, during 20 days in December.
The Lights of Christmas includes an array of entertainment and experiences including live music, theater, crafts, food, pony rides, a petting farm, and Polar Express Train rides. Visitors can shop for Christmas gifts, listen to carolers, attend a dinner theater and visit with Santa Claus or Bruce the Spruce, the talking Christmas tree. A variety of local music groups will perform, and the food choices will range from clam chowder and kettle corn to deli sandwiches, corn dogs and apple pie. Overnight accommodations are available at holiday-themed lodges. The event will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. on December 1-4, 8-11, 15-23, 26-28.
The Starry Night Coffeehouse will be open every night of the event. Visitors can get a fresh cup of coffee, listen to live music or find a comfortable chair to sit and visit
A dinner theater presentation called “Winds in the Morning” is available on select nights, starting at $39 per person. The show can also be seen at a dessert matinee for $28 on select Sunday afternoons. General admission is $15 for adults 13 to 59, $10 for military personnel and seniors 60 and older, $9 for children from 4 to 12, and free for children 3 and younger.
