Tulip Festival Unveiling Celebration - See Our 2015 Poster & Merchandise!
Saia’s rendition for the 2015 poster captures the sky and lighting that say Skagit Valley almost as well as the tulip fields. Her medium for the painting is a dry pigment oil pastel, creating a vibrant, bold scene. She was a regular part of the Art in the Pickle Barn Art Show for many years before moving her studio south to Seattle.
Heritage Bank (formerly Whidbey Island Bank) will sponsor the event, which also features the unveiling of the clothing designed by Ginny Bode; Fidalgo Bay Coffee Roasters official coffee blend; beer by Anacortes Brewery; and wine by Pasek Cellars Winery. Forte Artisan Chocolates has developed an official candy bar and Warren Jewelers is showcasing new tulip jewelry. Six Taste of Skagit eateries will provide tidbits for guests featuring mouth-watering samples by Swinomish Casino & Lodge, Big Scoop Sundae Palace, Max Dale’s Steak & Chop House, La Travatia, Majestic Inn & Spa, and Skagit River Brewery.
