These wonderful players are specialists in early music; Linda Melsted, John Dornenburg, Jillon Stoppels Dupree, have enjoyed an international career. The program is a great discovery of chamber music from early/middle Baroque full of colors, virtuosity and lyricism.
Dietrich Buxtehude (ca. 1637-1707) is highly regarded as one of the leading composers during Baroque German and was considered the eminent organist of his time.
