Event Description:
Annual major fundraiser hosted by SW Community Troop Support (SWCTS) on LAST SATURDAY IN JULY! Bikers are encouraged to mark their calendars, and public is welcome to join us at the after party, tentively planned for 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
The party at the end of the poker run will be held at Riverfront Park in Sedro-Woolley, and will include live music in the amphitheater, food in the large covered kitchen area, prizes and great Patriotic Troop Support fellowship! We ask public to PLEASE BRING CARE PACKAGE DONATIONS, as well as cash donations to help cover cost of Troop Support Christmas Campaign expenses for 2013 !
Funds raised from this event are used for postage and goods such as boot socks, chapstick, handwarmers, tuna and other items that supplement care package items that are donated by people throughout Skagit, Whatcom, Island and Snohomish counties.
SWCTS was founded in 2004. We are a family friendly, community nonprofit organization, and our Mission Statement is "People from in community sending care packages to people from our community serving overseas in t he U.S. Military."
